This picture stares at me framed in my office daily, or rather, I stare at it. I am blown away by how fashion forward Jacques Fath was in 1937.... her femininity and detailing are mesmerizing. From the popped collar to the oversize scaled buttons, this jacket, in my opinion, is perfection... even today.
While Michael Jackson has been, litereally, all over the press lately and virtually every where you glance, I can't help but notice the similarity of that crazy cat's style to what people were sporting in the 30's & 40's.
Jacques Fath was onto something... just some food for thought on your Wednesday. :)
